Audio sync, 16-second clips, and what we're shipping this quarter
The biggest release since launch. Synchronised ambient audio on every render, longer clips, a dedicated Studio render lane, and three smaller wins that nobody asked for but everyone will notice.
Short, focused release this week. Three headline things and a handful of quality-of-life touches that nobody asked for but everyone who uses the product daily will immediately notice.
1. Synchronised audio on every render
Every clip now ships with ambient sound matched to the scene:
It's muteable if you don't want it. If you *do* want it, you've just saved yourself a Foley pass.
Turn "audio" off in the render panel if you're cutting the clip into a bigger edit with its own score β the ambient layer will usually fight your sound design.
2. Max clip length 12s β 16s
Most of our renders are ad spots and social cuts, but 16s gives room for a two-beat intro / punchline that 12s was clipping. All tiers get it β the extra 4 seconds don't cost extra tokens beyond the standard second-per-token rate.
3. Studio-tier dedicated GPU lane
Studio and above now get isolated capacity. Average render time on that lane is ~38 seconds per 720p clip, even under peak load.
If you're running an agency pipeline, that's the difference between waiting in a queue and shipping to a client the same hour.
And three smaller wins
Prompt history is searchable. Three months of prompts, full-text search, filter by tag. It's a small feature; it's also the one we use internally constantly.
"Re-render with variation" keeps the same prompt but swaps the seed, so your four alternates come back in one batch instead of four manual retries.
Clip export presets β IG 9:16, YT 16:9, TikTok safe-area mask β baked in. No more "oh right, I need to re-crop this."
One quote we keep hearing
βIt's not that any single thing is revolutionary. It's that every single thing that was annoying is now fixed. This is what product work is supposed to feel like.β A customer email from Tuesday
What's next quarter
Short preview: native audio mixing timeline, prompt-to-prompt morphs, and a proper client-collaboration mode with view-only sharing links. No fixed ship dates yet β we're still sizing them.
Log in, re-render last week's clips, listen with sound on. Tell us what still feels annoying β we read everything, fix most of it.
